enchanting and unique stay!
central location warm welcome interesting decor early check-in
The location was fantastic. It was in the center of everything! i received a warm welcome, and the staff were very helpful. the room had interesting decor, and the bed was really soft. i appreciated being allowed to check in a bit early.
Parking was difficult. The space was full when i arrived, though i found a spot nearby.

Breakfast included a delicious, abundant spread. I enjoyed interacting with other guests during the meal. it was served in a magnificent dining room with gothic seating and candles. there was even a vampire slaying kit!

adequate stay with some drawbacks
amazing decor friendly staff great breakfast full parking hard lock garden closure
the decor was amazing. it felt very much like a sanctuary from the outside world, which i appreciated. the staff were friendly, i thought. the breakfasts were great (especially the pancakes!).
parking was full. i parked on a side street, which i wasn't happy about. locking the room was hard (it took me a while to figure it out). the garden was closed at 10pm.

Mixed Feelings About the Stay
full parking cheap sauce
The parking situation was not ideal. The lot was full upon arrival. I had to park on a side street, a minor inconvenience. The room locking mechanism proved unexpectedly difficult. the brown sauce served at breakfast tasted very cheap. The price point does not align with the quality.

a haven of enchantment!
unique atmosphere evening relaxation lovely garden
i stayed here recently and felt transported! the decorations are amazing and created such a unique atmosphere. i really enjoyed the downstairs room where guests could relax together in the evening. it has a kitchen area for making hot drinks and a lounge area. a garden to relax in.
parking felt tricky. i had to park on a side street, which wasn't ideal.

fascinating stay
friendly staff amazing decorations relaxing room
i found the staff super friendly. they chatted about my stay and offered recommendations for my trip. the decorations in the house are amazing. i really liked having a downstairs room to relax in the evening with a kitchen area available to make hot drinks (there's another lounge area next door).
parking was full upon arrival, so i had to park on a side street. locking the room initially seemed like an intelligence test. i found it a bit tricky at first. it would be great to have clearer instructions or an easier locking mechanism.

warm house amazing view full parking tricky lock
the house felt warm and cute throughout my stay. i stayed in the herne room which gave me an amazing view of the abbey grounds across the road. the wifi worked well too.
parking was full so i had to park on a side street. locking the room was tricky.
